My on-going work is focused on integrating the element of soul into people, communities and the places where they work and live.
I have a M.S. in Sustainability Education, B.A. in Social Sciences and a Minor in Civic Leadership from Portland State University. I have been a master-teacher reiki practitioner since 2011, am an ordained minister, as well as a trained group and ceremony facilitator. I have worked as an outdoor and experiential educator with youth, adults, animals and non-profits for the better part of a decade, internationally, as well as at home in the PNW.
On top of this, I obtained a Permaculture Design Certificate in 2014, completed an intensive, year-long shamanic mentorship with JoBeth Eckerman, have taken many trainings on Non-Violent Communication and completed Street Yoga’s Trauma Informed Yoga Certification.
Apart from being a holistic educator, healer and event producer, I founded an Ecological Land Stewardship company called Urban Village Designs LLC where I oversee a team that offers holistic earth stewardship through land tending, design, installation and education. I am also a co-founder, board member and on the active leadership team of nonprofit Conscious Growth. Additionally, I co-founded and serve as a managing member of the community center E.A.R.T.H. Space PDX.
At home, I am a dog (x2) mom, chicken, duck, snake and bee care-giver. I enjoy urban farming, backpacking at home and abroad, Gongfu style tea ceremony, and regularly practice various meditation techniques including breathwork, qi gong and shamanic journeying.
